Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 October 2026. These terms cover the Becoming waitlist website now and the Becoming app when it launches.
The short version. You must be 18 or older. AI images are illustrations, not predictions or promises. Becoming is not medical advice. Be kind, only upload photos of yourself, and report anything that looks wrong.
1. Who can use Becoming
You must be at least 18 years old. By joining the waitlist or using the app you confirm that you are.
2. The waitlist and referrals
Joining the waitlist is free. Your position is an estimate and can change, for example when friends join with your link (each moves you up 100 spots). Referral rewards (a beta invite, the Founding Glow badge and bonus re-reveals) count only for real people who join with their own email address. We may remove duplicate, automated or fake signups and the rewards that came from them. Please don't spam people with your link.
3. Free while we grow, and founding members
Becoming is free for everyone until 5,000 people have joined. People who join during this free period are founding members, and founding members get Becoming Pro free for life. If we introduce paid plans later, we will tell you in advance, prices will be shown clearly before you pay, and payments will be handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
4. AI visualizations
- Becoming uses Google (Vertex AI Gemini) to create images from your selfie. Every image is labelled "AI visualization". It is an illustration of what consistent habits might look like, not a prediction, guarantee or medical assessment.
- We design the AI to keep your identity, face shape, skin tone and body size. It should never reshape your face, slim your body or lighten your skin. If it does, or produces anything offensive or sexual, please tap Report. Reported images are hidden immediately and reviewed.
- Generated images are kept on our server for at most 24 hours. Save any you want to keep. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Your photos and content
Only upload photos of yourself, and never photos of anyone under 18. Do not upload nudity or sexual content. You keep ownership of your photos. You give us a limited permission to process them only to provide the service (creating your visualization and progress features), and this ends when the image is deleted. We never use your photos in marketing.
6. Not medical advice
Skincare, workout, hair and habit suggestions are general wellness information. They are not medical, dermatological or nutritional advice, and results vary. Stop any routine that causes pain or irritation, and talk to a doctor or dermatologist about health or skin concerns. The plan contains no weight or calorie targets by design.
7. Product links
The plan may suggest products with affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are always labelled.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no scraping, automated signups, attempts to get around safety filters, or using it to create images of other people. We may suspend access for misuse.
9. Changes, availability and liability
Becoming is a new product and features may change. We provide it "as is" and, to the extent the law allows, are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will tell you before the change applies.
10. Ending
You can stop using Becoming at any time and tap Delete my data in Settings, or unsubscribe from waitlist emails. See Delete your data for all the ways to remove your data.
